“Here's the thing that's facing those two kids. They're on a descending order list right now. Josh is 15th in the nation, Ellie is 7th in the pole vault. What they've got to do, they have to try and take their performance up to either get to the (NCAA) automatic or get high enough up on the descending order list to wind up in the top 14 by the end of the season.”
“I'm just really hoping that we come out of this thing experiencing some real momentum going into the conference meet. It's our last opportunity to build the engine, complete it and get it where it's running up to max.”
“This was another step for us. We made more progress getting ready for the Big Sky meet. Erin had a very good pentathlon, and we had several other athletes step up.”
“We did not qualify enough (athletes to the finals) so some of the scoring we were hoping to do is not going to happen. We'll have to rely on our relay teams.”
